The event was also in the top five of all time for hours watched.
With the conclusion of the BLAST Paris Major, the final viewership statistics are in on Esports Charts. Despite being the last ever CS:GO Major Paris did not manage to break any viewership records, however it will still go down as one of the most-watched CS:GO tournaments of all time.
In terms of peak viewers, Paris paled in comparison both to the PGL Major Stockholm and the PGL Major Antwerp. Stockholm understandably sits at the top with 2.7 million peak viewers, it was the first Major since 2019 due to COVID and the only ever Major with a $2 million prize pool. Antwerp then comes in with 2.1 million peak viewers, following by Paris with 1.5 million.

When it comes to hours watched Paris actually falls to fifth place, but this makes sense when compared to the tournaments sitting above it as they all aired for longer. One tournament with similar airtime did beat it significantly in this category however, that being Antwerp.
The top in terms of hours watched is of course still Stockholm with 71.3 million (120h 10m airtime), but interestingly the IEM Rio Major slots in at second place with 69.5m (126h 50m airtime). This shows that whilst Rio’s viewership peak might not have been particularly high, the consistency of viewing was impressive. Then comes Antwerp with 68.1 million (116h 10m airtime), then FACEIT Major London with 61 million (150h 25m airtime), and finally Paris with 58.9 million (116h airtime).
The most-watched game of the BLAST Paris Major was of course the final between Vitality and GamerLegion, which achieved the aforementioned peak of 1.5 million viewers. The second most-watched match emphasizes the power of big-name teams in pulling in the numbers, as it was FaZe and Natus Vincere’s Legends Stage elimination bout, which garnered 960,841 peak viewers. The two semi-finals came in third and fourth, Vitality vs Apeks posting 931,813 peak and HEROIC vs GamerLegion 907,487, with FaZe and HEROIC’s quarter-final rounding out the top five with 866,323.
